We Celebrated Ava’s Berry 1st Birthday!

Hey Lovely,

We Celebrated Ava’s Berry First Birthday!

We spent the day with an intimate circle of both me and my husband’s immediate family and it was Oh so sweet! We decided to keep the guest list to immediate family, because when we started adding persons to a guest list, it was growing astronomically, so we decided for this birthday and future birthdays that we will keep it small and intimate. Perhaps when she gets to milestone birthdays, We will expand the guest list accordingly. We had a wonderful day, and Ava enjoyed herself immensely.

My mom and Zaynah pitched in on the food prep, and I am so grateful! We all worked late into the night and early the morning of the party. Dijonia (my cousin) came by in the morning and erected a beautiful balloon garland. She also helped me to set up my finger foods in the platter (not pictured here).

My friend Joy did the delectable pinwheel sandwiches and parfaits. She graciously loaned me her air fryer to fry my meatballs and wings. Having an air fryer is a game changer! I bought myself one almost immediately after. A mom friend Vancia (from VJ’s Bakery), did some delicious sausage rolls. My ever loving hubs supported by running every errand under the sun that was necessary to make the gathering successful.

This theme was inspired by a post on Pinterest by Ashley Brooks Nicolas

I honestly did not know what theme I should make her party since she doesn’t have favorite characters. I decided early on to have her remain screen free until she’s 2.

At this time I would like to find the rest of my family, friends, insta-aunties and the Insta-cousins for their love and support over Ava‘s first year. I really appreciate you and I do love you all dearly.

Hi Tiffany. It’s me. Just want to air my celebration on your growth and womanhood. You’ve come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord. I’m enjoying your Blog, as I just came across it for the first time. Enjoy motherhood also. There is an unction given for that lane of the journey, as well. Hugs and much 💕 Love. Stay Bless.
